ABA - Applied Behavior Analysis
Available in all service areas

Current research shows ABA to be an effective and appropriate intervention in the treatment of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Learning ARTS offers specific implementations of behavioral intervention intended to help young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder achieve independent, full inclusion in a primary general education setting while promoting pro-social behavior.

Program goals are written with the intention of placing the child in a mainstream regular education classroom. These overall goals are task analyzed in to quarterly benchmark goals and updated on a weekly basis to better guide and track appropriate outcomes.

In order to measure a child's progress toward that goal, Learning ARTS utilizes the California State Standards for Regular Education. Where a child is less than three years of age our goal is to achieve appropriate behavior and skill acquisition to transition in to a regular education kindergarten. For children already in an educational environment, or older than three years old, we use the California State Standards that would place the child in an age appropriate classroom.
