The Learning ARTS team is proud to help raise funds for Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks is the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. To find out more, please visit: www.walknowforautismspeaks.org
We have a number of events planed for this summer:
- On Wednesday, July 20, Learning ARTS is teaming up with Taste of Tuscany Italian Family Restaurant at 7753 Roseville Rd, Suite #A. If you mention Learning ARTS or Autism Speaks, Taste of Tuscany will donate 20% of the price of the meal to the Learning ARTS fundraising team! This is for one day only, lunch or dinner, so bring your whole family!
- On Saturday, August 6, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM Learning ARTS will be cleaning cars! We are setting up a volunteer carwash at 4230 Arden Way in Sacramento ("Scott's Corner" across from Whole Foods). Staff will be selling tickets in advance of the event, or just come down. A $10 donation to the Learning ARTS Walk Now for Autism Speaks team will get your whole car cleaned!
- On Saturday September 10th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be a Rummage Sale in the parking lot of Learning ARTS Main Office at 6400 Tupelo Drive. Staff are encouraged to donate any used but still useful items they have around the house. All proceeds will go to the Learning ARTS Walk Now for Autism Speaks team!
More fun is being planned! Check back here to get the latest!
