Dr. William Brandon, BCBA, PhD
Behavior Analyst
Dr. Brandon has been working in the field of education for 18 years and with children on the autism spectrum for more than 14 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Biology emphasis from the University of California, Davis, a Master of Science in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education. He also hold several specialized credentials in behavior principles, research applications, verbal behavior, and techniques.

Dr. Brandon is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of Learning ARTS behavior analysis programs.

In 2007 Dr. Brandon also served on the California Department of Education Autism Task Force.


Ian Wilson, BCABA
Director of Client Services
Ian Wilson has been with Learning ARTS since 2002. He has worked his way up through field positions and now provides administrative support and direction to our clinical service personnel. Where the Behavior Analysts provide clinical support to the Behavior Specialists it is the Director of Client Services that coordinates and directs the efforts of the Behavior Analysts and Regional Supervisors to ensure that staff and families have the support they need.

Ian has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a Master's of Science in Human Behavior and has completed graduate-level units in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. He is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst and credentialed teacher with classroom experience.

Ian is the direct administrative supervisor for the Regional Supervisors and Behavior Analysts in all regions and reports to Justin McCoy.


Melissa Altamirano
Fresno Regional Supervisor
Melissa Altamirano, or Missie, has been supervising our Fresno region since 2005. She is presently completing a Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been working with children on the autism spectrum for nearly ten years.

Missie is the direct administrative supervisor for the Behavior Specialists in the Fresno region and reports to Ian Wilson.


Monica Avila
Sacramento Regional Supervisor
Monica Avila has been with Learning ARTS since 2002 and has worked her way up through field positions and now provides administrative support to the Behavior Specialists. Monica has a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Special Education while simultaneously completing graduate-level units in Applied Bheavior Analysis.

Monica is the direct administrative supervisor for the Behavior Specialists and RDI Program Certified Consultants in the Sacramento region and reports to Ian Wilson.


Justin McCoy
Executive Director
Justin McCoy provided business consulting services to Learning ARTS for several years before finally joining the full time staff in 2004. He brought with him nearly 14 years of business administration experience from a diverse group of companies that include Intel, Apple, CBS/Medscape and others.

After spending so many years helping large companies develop client incentive programs and increase market share he says that he is now quite pleased to be, "using his powers for the forces of good."

Justin is the chief administrative supervisor and reports directly to Learning ARTS owners and shareholders.
